I gave this five stars even though I think it could only get three in reality. No cimethinc person could ever expect to take these anarchist ideas seriously.
I didn’t hate it like I hated Evasion, but it kind of serves as a reminder of how even waar I was into the whole “anarchist” thing I didn’t quite buy into it. From the official website: I have always been a closet anarchist of some sort, perhaps a consequence of my bourgeois education and youthful narcissism.
And, with any luck, you’ll argue with this book. Its written in a way thats accessible wad their target audience which, I assume, is young punk rockers who need political direction.
Even then, I took it with a grain of salt.
I’m glad that the resource is available. Another good one is taking a receipt for a CD out of a trash can outside of a record store, going in, finding that CD and “returning it” for money.

Believe the hype, and check crimmethinc why this is already an underground bestseller. It’s a noble effort at times though, and I would probably recommend it for someone who feels that perhaps the cgimethinc is just not for them, and that society as a whole doesn’t always have the answers. Oct 17, Leah rated it did not like it. The other books the collective put out are pretty painful, both in terms of editing and political content.
It is crimethinv, and maybe too easy and too harsh, yes, maybe a little narrow, but it is raging and it exults in the inevitability of crimetihnc, and names the poetry and the life of the individual as the single agent of any plausible revolution. This book offers a decent motivation for or inspiration for those who want to break outside the system.
